EPIC Welcomes our Newest Special Inspector - Joshua Ramcharan!

Joshua was born and raised in New York City where he attended the renowned Bronx High School of Science, and then NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. At Tandon, Joshua worked on several class projects including a model shake table, a railroad train guidance system, and his capstone project utilizing the Tandon wind tunnel. For his capstone project, Joshua oversaw the mechanical and fluid analysis of the tunnel and designed the system of sensors needed to display windspeed, drag, and down force.

Joshua began working at EPIC in February 2022 as a special inspector under the tutelage of the Director of Special Inspections, Molly Glenn, P.E. His short-term goal with EPIC is to pass the International Code Council “Commercial Mechanical Inspector” exam, and his long term goals are to become a Master Inspector and to get his Professional Engineering license.

In his free time Joshua enjoys watching sports (he is a die-hard Yankees fan), playing video games, and tinkering with cars.
